A cluster will consist of three to five contributions, preferably by both established and young scholars, on one specific theme. This new feature aims to provide a venue for disseminating new ideas, inquiries, approaches in a timely fashion. The title of an accepted cluster will appear as a thematic heading in the table of contents, followed by the name of the cluster organizer. We welcome submission of finished sets of papers or proposals by prospective cluster organizers.<\/p>\n<p>For the submission guidelines as well as a more detailed description of <em>JCLC, <\/em>\u00a0visit &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/forumcpc.com\/?page_id=257\">Journal<\/a>&#8221; page.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>January 2015 The <em>Journal of Chinese Literature and Culture <\/em>(<em>JCLC<\/em>) CFP (Read it in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forumcpc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/JCLC_CFP_Oct2014.pdf\">PDF<\/a>)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Journal of Chinese Literature and Culture (JCLC) publishes research articles and essays on premodern Chinese literature and all aspects of the broader literary culture. It also publishes work that explores the influence of traditional literature and culture in modern and contemporary China. For some periods of the twentieth century, the study of premodern Chinese literature was considered by many an impediment to the rise of science and democracy, but it is now recognized in China as a valuable heritage that can enrich Chinese culture for the twenty-first century.
